Rebellion

In the home of perfection,
where there is no night.
Came the first rebellion,
from a creature of light.

Just one wrong choice,
and rebellion was born.
Then eternal destruction,
for the one who had scorned.

War in the heavens,
was what it had birthed.
The scorners fell like lighting,
banished to earth.

In the garden of perfection,
made by God's own hand.
Even there,
rebellion... came to the land.

Two of perfection,
and one wrong choice.
Both gave an ear,
when rebellion gave voice.

Fallen and banished,
like the scorners before.
First spirit then flesh,
perfect no more.

From a moment in eternity,
until the time of the end.
Rebellion remains pregnant,
birthing its sin.
