Believe to Receive

To believe is to conceive, like a husband and wife. The two must be present, in the forming of life. Receiving comes from believing, they're an inseparable pair. But when belief isn't present, receiving can't bear. Just as a seed is planted, and starts to ascend. For full growth to come, it must not bend. So when we believe, there can be no doubt. For doubt is the worm, that chews off the sprout. So for our harvest to come,  as we have planned. Faith must the fertilizer, upon our land.

In Pursuit

It has been said that, “those who pursue God,   are already in His hand!” So why would one chase, The One in whom they stand? Can we find something, that we have missed? Or is this idea of chasing God, something to be dismissed? King David wrote,   “As the deer pants for the water,   so my heart longs for You!” Could this chase of God, not be something new? Why would you chase, Him, that you’ve found? Less your pursuit, was aimed,  higher than ground! Is pursuing God, more... Like that of the heart? A finding of that relationship, That fulfills, ones empty part! Perhaps our chase,   is not so much finding Him,   As catching His eye! Just letting Him know,  He’s more,   To the chasers,   than the God of the bye and bye! He is constantly,   in our thoughts and our heart,   and we wonder His thoughts,   even in our walk?   He dominates our words, Even as we talk! So chase on all of you,   Who ha

Encounter Him!

In our Christian lives, We seek glimpses of God. We seek the tangible touch, Like a lighting rod. We seek a presence and power  We cannot explain! We seek the wonders of His hand, Brought by His Name! Can we become like Jacob?  Camped at a well! Not satisfied by who we are, In this flesh that we dwell?   Could we meet God? Upon His ground! And be willing to be changed by Him,  That our lives...  are not what He found! Would we hold on To Him?  Not willing to let go! Until what we were before, Not longer showed! Would we be willing, To die to what we are? To be reborn, With a hip,   disfigured and scared! No longer could we be,  or even walk the same! For to encounter Him...  Upon His ground,  leaves the flesh as lame!

Miracles

Some say a miracle, isn't for the wise. For to believe in such, shrinks ones intellectual size. Some say a miracle, is to hard to receive. But God still works wonders, for those who will believe. Others say God's miracles, only happened long, long ago. God says, He changes not, nor His ways even so! Miracles in modern day, many say we've lost our mind. But Jesus said, Ask, Seek, & Knock, that you might find. Miracles through God's power, await those, who will receive. God only ask, that we actually believe.

Mops

The difference between, the bottom and the top. Is the difference between, the handle and the mop. Its the difference between, where you are and where you've been. And where you're headed, back again! The handle works the mop, but the mop doesn't work the handle. The handle stands up. The mop cleans up. The handle, or the mop. The bottom, or the top. Where do you stand, at this point in time? Can a mop speak, from the words of rhyme? Do you stand with the handle, at the very top? Or are you rolling in the dirt, with a grimy mop?

Mercy Not Justice

Pilate, stood willing, with mercy at hand. As he called to the crowd, "tell me, which man"? "Who shall die, who shall go free"? Barabbas or Jesus? Justice or Mercy? "Give us Barabbas", screamed the masses out loud. So a criminal was chosen, to represent the crowd. Pilate spoke again, "what of this King of the Jews? What with Him, will you have me to do"? Kill Him, crucify Him, roared the words of the crowd. Though Pilate was willing, justice...was not allowed. Mercy... not justice, spoke loudest that day. For mercy on sinners, is Jesus way!

The Prayer

My past is checkered, My friend are few. God, I seek answers, Of what I should do. Can I find mercy? When I've shown none. Is there hope for me, For the things I have done? Is there peace for me? No matter my wealth. Is there really healing for my body, When in poor health? Does God love a man, Such as I? If I were God... I wouldn't even try. Is God so full of compassion and care? That He'd love a man, People can't bear. Forgive me God, I don't know how to pray. But these are the questions, I have this day. God, your book says, If I ask from my heart. You'll wipe away the slate, And I'll have clean start. Well God, This is all I know to say. But from now on, I'll follow your way.

He Is...

He is… the cornerstone. He is… the bread of life. He is… the bright morning star. He is… the good shepherd. He is… the light of the world. He is… the only begotten. He is… The Word of GOD. He is… the lifter of my head. He is… the giver of my strength. He is… the purchaser of my peace. He is… the granter of my joy. He is… the healer of my body. He is… the rescuer of my soul. He is… the lamb of GOD. He is… the prince of peace.   He is… Alpha and Omega. (The Beginning and End)        He is… The King of kings.  He is... Lord of lords. He is… The Savior of All Mankind. Warnings...Warnings

The words of the prophets, Have been spoken and heard. The time is now, To heed God's Word. From the time of Noah, To present day. Man has been charged, To change his way. Though evil and sinful, Describe mans heart. A way has been made, For a new start. Oh man of flesh, Cast aside your ways. Forgiveness is now offered, For all of your days. The choice is yours, And yours alone. But the day is fast arriving, When choice... is gone!
