Is America The Daughter of Babylon, 10 Questions?

To all who read this, please be aware, this is not one of those arm twisting dogmatic, I’m right and everyone else is wrong type of apologetics theory!

This is simply a question that you and I must answer after examining the facts that we have, from, our current culture here in America, and what the Holy Scripture teaches us about the defining marks of the end time Babylon.

The reader must come to their own conclusion; my goal is to simply present the facts that exist in both. 

I ask you the reader, to ask questions about each of these characteristics of Babylon, such as could this be the Catholic Church as many have believed.

Could it be Italy, or modern day Babylon in Iraq, do these entities fit into these Scriptures, could it even be Turkey or modern day Israel?

Weigh these theories against what scripture says, not what you have always been told and taught, for many a good man and woman of God have shared many opinions on these subjects down through time, but none of them could have envisioned what America has become, nor the geopolitical landscape which has emerged in these last days.

Before we begin let me share two Scriptures with you,

Daniel 12:4. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Proverbs 25:2. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

Shall we begin?

Question 1

Does Babylon have a literal mother Country, one from whence she came?

Jeremiah 50:12. Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

Some could make the argument that Jeremiah was referring to the original Babylon, since he was alive when that Babylon existed. Except, that Babylon had no mother country that ever existed, she was founded by Nimrod.

America on the other hand has a mother who still exists, her name is England.

Just something to think about!

Question 2

Is the Babylon of the End Times the wealthiest nation on Earth?

She is!

Rev. 18:19.And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Like I said earlier, ask yourself who this could be, Babylon in Iraq?

Rome Italy, or one of the others?

You see there is a problem with it being Rome, or ancient Babylon.

 They are both inland cities, they have no deep water ports.

Rome is about 60 miles inland, and Babylon is about 200 miles inland.

This is the Chief city of the nation of Babylon, a city which can be seen burning from the sea, one that was the commerce capital of the world.

 Rev. 18:18.And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

Question 3

Is the Babylon of the End Times a Nation of Immigrants?

Jeremiah 50: 37. A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.

The interesting part of this verse is the description mingled peoples.

The NIV translates this as foreigners, no nation on the earth is as much a land of foreigners as we are, for we all have roots somewhere else in this world.

Again ask yourself who could fit this description?

Question 4

Was the Babylon of the End Times, once a golden cup of Blessings in The Lord’s Hand?

Jer.51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord’s hand,

In scripture the golden cup is always a reference to blessing.

50 years ago 80% of all missions’ donations came from the USA, along with almost 60% of the missionaries on the ground of foreign nations.

Today we export 80% of the worlds pornography, that’s a fact, check it out.

We are also the world leader in abortion 60 million and counting, and if that’s not enough, we actually pay countries to implement free abortions in their countries. Our tax dollars at work!

We supply third world nations with all the day after pills they need or want.

We are the world leader in homosexual marriage, and we are leading and forcing other nations to follow suit.

"the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad."

Question 5

Does the Babylon of the End Times have a large Jewish population?

America has a population of over 6 million Jew's, second only to Israel with 7 million plus. There are only 15 million Jew's worldwide.

Zech. 2:7. Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

Rev. 18:4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that receive not her plagues.

I have a question for you, who were John’s people?

The Book of Revelations was delivered to 7 Jewish congregations throughout Asia Minor (modern day Turkey), they were all Jews.

John never taught Gentiles, so the people he is calling out of Babylon, are his people, the Jews.

Question 6.

Is the Babylon of the End Times, the most powerful military nation on the earth?

Jer.50:23. How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! How is Babylon become a desolation among the nations.

Notice the wording here, ‘the whole earth” ancient Babylon at its peak militarily was the dominant power of the East, never the whole earth.

How many times have you heard America referred to as the ‘Policeman of the Whole World?”

Currently, America has over 800 military installations of some type around the world, we are the lone superpower left upon the earth. America alone accounts for 50% of all military spending worldwide.

Question 7

Where geographically does the Babylon of the end time reside?

Jer. 51:13. O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.

Firstly, ancient Babylon did not reside on many waters, like I mentioned last time Babylon was a city 200 miles inland from the nearest ocean. Unlike America which is sit between two oceans, plus the Gulf of Mexico to the south, not to mention the Great Lakes to the north.

Also notice the second part of the verse; “abundant in treasures” I think that one speaks for itself!

Question 8

Is the Babylon of the End Times home to the wealthiest and most powerful businessmen on earth?

Rev.18:23And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Now read the same verse in the more modern NIV Translation

Rev. 18:23 23The light of a lamp will never shine in you again.The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again.Your merchants were the worldʼs important people.By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.

Currently worldwide, America has over 15 Million Millionaires, the most of any country, 15.6 million I believe, the next two nations on the list, together will only make up a third of that number. So Italy and Iraq would fail to qualify here, much less anyone else.

Question 9

Does the Babylon of the End Times have a space program or missile defense system?

I know this sounds unbelievable, but the verse you’re about read is pretty unique to scripture.

Jer. 51:53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the Lord.

That three words KJ translators used here in English “should mount up” is actually the Hebrew word alah, pronounced aw-law. It literally means, to go up to. Once there she fortifies the height of strength.

There is no nation on earth that has a space program that has ever achieved the things in space America has, there is no nation on earth with a missile defense system in space but America. But the Bible says even though it’s there it won’t matter. Whether you take this verse as the moon program, the missile defense system, or the world’s mightiest air force, none of this could have been accomplished by ancient Babylon, or anyone else.

The Prophets didn’t write poetry, they wrote what was to come.

Question 10

How old of a Nation is the End Time Babylon compared to other nations?

America is a nation born less than 250 years ago, in the eyes of the world we are the new kids on the block. We are way younger than Italy and Iraq, by thousands of years, not hundreds.

Jer.50:12. Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

The hindermost of the nations, is one of the last nations established, yet, in a short time this nation establishes the mightiest army, greatest economy, most luxurious form of living known throughout all of history. Not to mention she has been used as a nation of blessing (a golden cup) to other nations, and in the end has corrupted herself and her fellow nations.

Sound like anybody you know?

So ask yourself if this theory is correct what happens to America?

Rev. 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Rev. 18: 17.For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

18.And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

19.And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

It doesn’t take God one day or one hour to destroy anything, when it’s by His hand its instant.

So what could destroy this nation in one day, and its greatest city in one hour.

You’ll find your answer in Revelations 18:15

15.The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

If she were destroyed by conventional war crafts, there would be no fear of entering her after the bombing had stopped, but this is not the case. Man is afraid to even approach her, there is only one type of weapon available to men that would cause that kind of fear, and that is nuclear.

I will do my best to answer the most common argument posed against this theory.

The seven hills from upon she (Babylon) sits? Valid question, it is true Rome sits upon seven small hills, but so does another 70 other Capitals around the world,one in particular, you will find it in Washington DC, and it too sits upon seven hills.

What Happens Between the Rapture and the Tribulation?

Were you taught like me, that just as soon the Rapture takes place, the Tribulation will begin?

 It's a very popular teaching and has been for over a hundred years. There is just one problem with it, the Bible doesn't say that, as a matter of fact the Bible is silent on the window of time in between the two.

It could start the next day, it could start the next year, it could start the next decade, we just don't know. It's not laid out like the seven year's of the Tribulation. Even though it is a seven year calendar of events, it's the last three and half years where things go really bad as GOD begins to pour out His wrath.

Now, to the question will people even notice we're gone in that time period?

Some say no, I say yes, but where they think we're gone is a whole nother question. But I'm getting ahead of myself, let me slow down, and get back to what the Bible does say.

It says that "the Tribulation" starts when the man of sin, signs a seven year peace agreement with Israel and then breaks it half way through. After that it's on, everything you have ever read in Revelation, is coming, and coming in a hurry.

But before that agreement, what's going on then?

(Major Conjecture Warning) Like I always tell people, those of us who study the end times, just like those who studied it before us, and have now gone on; they were attempting to connect the dots, thus the dot connecting has now fallen to us. Now as geopolitical as well as technological information becomes more apparent. We see things moving into place, that may not have been so obvious during the times of those who came before us. Thus the difference in interpretation of then to now.

 We can be definite only on the things GOD's Word tells us, but any gaps in-between, we're all just trying to connect the dots. So all the following is just that. 

So...let's get to those dots!

There are two things that dominate end times discussions of what will happen before the Rapture, one is a end times revival, the other is an end times apostasy. 

I believe both happen, but they happen in this window and not before. The Rapture will catch the world and much of the church by surprise, even though Paul says the church shouldn't be caught unaware, it's gonna be. Many Christian people are so rooted to the world and the things there of, GOD may have to use a garden hoe to chop the roots loose before He can Rapture them. 

You know I'm just being funny...no I'm not ;)

I actually believe the two are intertwined, when the Rapture happens, all those fence riders who would never give their life to GOD, are going to know exactly what has happened. Maybe they lost a spouse, or their parents or their child...yeah they're gonna know we're gone, and they're going to know exactly what's happened!

And these I just mentioned will most likely be the beginning's of the greatest revival the Earth has ever seen. Because we know there will be Tribulation saints, who the man of sin will make war against and kill. It's a tough way to go, but hey, it's a lot better than hell. 

John describes these saints in Revelation 7:9, and unlike the description of the saints of the church age, who are described as Kings and Priest, these lack crowns, they only have palm branches in their hands. So there is a difference between the two.

I said I thought they were connected, so while this great revival is going on, millions getting saved around the world, something happens to answer the question of where all those Christians went, back at the Rapture. 

We get a visit from the real fallen angel's, of course they're not going tell anyone who they really are,(because getting fired in heaven, looks really bad on your resume) they will be these god like alien's with all the answers of where we are. They will deny the idea of any other real GOD, and they will cause men to believe they planted us here; it will be the great deception that man has been looking for. And when the man of sin finally gets to power, he will make war on what will be the Tribulation saints. With plenty of help from those who bought into the fallen angel's planting us here like Prometheus, and together they will finally rid the world of those pesky Christians; because those Christians won't worship anyone but the real GOD.

Could there possibly be more than what you have just read?

Nonetheless I hope my thoughts made you think, made you curious, to go and research for yourself what the Word does and doesn't say about these times that will emphatically befall the earth.

Where is China and America in the end times?

I get asked from time to time, where is America in End Times Bible prophecy? I always answer, it's mentioned, it's called Babylon. I won't go into why I believe that here, there is actually an article I wrote called, "Is America Babylon 10 Question?", detailing why I say that, it details why I believe America is one of the Babylons. But that's not what this article is about completely. This actually addresses what leads up that Babylon ending for America. This is about another question I have been asked recently, where is China in the End Times? I actually believe the two are intertwined.

I know as a young man growing up in the seventies and eighties, many taught China was the two hundred million man army mentioned in Revelation 9:16.

That doesn't appear to likely considering China has currently less than three million people in there total military. That's a huge disparity, as the days grow closer to what will be The Day of the Lord.

Let me say this before I go any further, this is all conjecture, I have no more inside information than you do, what we all do who study the End Times is attempt to connect the dots.

This is for better or worse, one man's conjecture.

I don't personally believe the 200 million mentioned in Revelation 9 are mortal men; and I am not alone in that opinion, many of the classic commentaries, written as far back as the mid nineteenth century saw these as a two hundred million demonic hoard. If you read Joel chapter two you will see why they believe that, the abilities described of the soldiers, leads one to believe these are not mortal men.

Also if you do the math, placing a literal horse and rider nose to tail throughout the land acreage of Israel, for two hundred million, it would fill up the country of Israel seven and a half times, and that's shoved in nose to tail. It would literally fill up every square inch of the state of Wisconsin, placed nose to tail, even there. Not to mention as I write this article in the summer of 2021, there are less 60 million horses, on the planet Earth... So those aren't mortals.

Well if that enormous army isn't China, where is China?

Go with me if you will back to the book of Ezekiel, chapter 38, one of the most popular chapters in the Bible. Here we find Gog leading the army of Magog (Russia)and his followers down into Israel or any territory they may gained leading up to this invasion, in what they believe will be an easy victory for Magog and his band of nation's. They are headed down to take a spoil or a prey, in other words, they are going down to steal.

I personally believe they are going down to literally steal the land of Israel or any territory they may have amased, and put it under the control of the Palestinians, while holding onto it's natural resources for themselves. I believe that is their intentions for this massive invasion. And their plan is to eradicate the Jews along the way. But GOD, has other plans, and only one in six of this total coalition will be left alive according to Ezekiel 39.

GOD is going to handle this battle personally, hail, torrential rains, armies turning on each other, mass confusion, mass death.

"Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith The Lord GOD." Ez.39:5

Magog (Russia) knows the United States will never allow this planned invasion to take place, this invasion will literally mean world war three. By then though Russia, with a hook in their jaw, will have no choice, so before they go, they must make sure that America is not able do anything about it, and they will strike the USA with all their nuclear might. They may most likely have help in the form of the Chinese, in this attack on America; but if they are in this together, they won't be able to trust one another anymore once the launching begins, because both will know of each other, if they did this to the Americans; we're probably next, so we might as well get rid of them while they're not expecting it.

Some will say, that's interesting conjecture, but what in the world would lead you to believe such doomsday event is even possible?

My answer to that is found again in Revelation chapter 9:18

"By these three was the third part of mankind killed, by the fire and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths."

Just so happens that if you add up the population of China, Russia, and the United States, you get right at thirty three percent of the world's population, one third, these are pre-rapture numbers I'm giving you.

Yes, I am a rapture believer, and I actually believe all the above happens between the rapture and the coming to power of the antichrist. There will be a window of time between the two, it's an indefinite window, but a window nonetheless. The longer the window, the worse things will get, and thus the need for the man of sin who is going to bring peace to the world.

Getting back to our three way exchange, that will thin out the population dramatically if correct, it will also answer some questions many have wondered for a long time, like what will the judgement be on nation's who have been inherently evil and corrupting?

Russia's (Magog) fate will be sealed with the attempted invasion, Ezekiel 39:6 “And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the  LORD."

It is obvious Russia is destroyed by fire, nuclear fire I suspect, but it could be the literal fire of GOD, either way, lets read the end of that verse again, " them that dwell carelessly in the isles?" The word carelessly here translates, of false confidence. It is not obvious who these are, but it is obvious that more than Magog burns that day.

With these three superpowers now gone, the antichrist negotiates a peace deal with Israel. Ever wonder why he does that?

Why does he need little Israel in a peace deal? Why doesn't he go ahead and attack them, with all the nation's that are left?

"Major Conjecture Warning"; could it be that Israel is one of the very last, if not the last, nuclear power in the world?

All the big guns are presumably gone, Israel would literally own the Middle East militarily. But, they have always wanted peace with their Arab cousin's.

China, Russia (Magog), and the United States (Babylon), have received their judgement in one day, for all the evil and corruption they have poured out for hundreds of years, and all that's left primarily is the countries we have read about in Scripture.

But hey, that's just conjecture, that's just connecting the dots, and it won't matter one bit to all who know Jesus as Saviour, because we won't be around if it happens this way.

Don't stick around to see if I got it wrong, if you don't know Jesus, today is the day to introduce yourself to Him.

I hope this one man's opinion will encourage you to get into researching the end times in the Bible. Because the days ahead will grow darker and crazier. And you need and you need to be aware of why.
