Silence In The Air

There's a silence in the air,
A feeling of uncertainty
Is visible everywhere.
The air no longer roars,
Of the sound of prayer.

 But now, there is,
 A silence in the air.
It's like that moment,
After knocking at the door.
As you listen closely,
For steps on the floor.

Anticipating The One,
You're looking for.
Oh there is silence,
In the air.
Pay attention...
It's everywhere!

It's come to this.
Because this had to come.
A moment is building,
As the tensions grow.
Signs are developing,
And starting to show.

Are you listening,
And watching with attention.
Or has hearing been lost,
Due to pretensions.
Can the deaf hear,
Silence in the air?

Can the blind see,
Signs everywhere?
Have we heard the last,
Of the roar of prayer?
Or have we arrived at the point,
We don't care?

Do we now carry more calluses,
Than care?
Have we hardened to a point,
Resting in despair?

Has this world robbed us,
Of our time of prayer?
Who among you will still dare?
For there is, Silence in the Air!
