Just Past the Bend

Time continues, As our days wind down. Tick toc, time's very words, tick toc, Time's only sound. But time itself is on the clock, For it too has an end. For time had a birth, On the day of man's sin. The Angel will declare, That time is no more. As he puts one foot on the water, And one on the shore. Yes, time has an end, Just like you and I. And like all of us who are born, One day, we die. Time is not to be counted on forever, Time is only for today. Time runs just like the rivers, Passing where we stand, But always moving away. Unlike us,  Time has no soul, Its simply the gatekeeper, For the young and the old. Make well of your time, For you both shall pass. Treat each day you're given, As it were your last.

From the time of the Pharisee’s Till present day. Man has sought to define GOD, By man’s own way! But GOD has spoke for himself, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are your ways My ways.” Is this a verse we have forgot? To quote the Apostle Paul, “Surely not.” Does man see himself, More shrewd than a fox? And in his shrewdness, Does he dare… Put GOD in a box? Put GOD Almighty, in a box? No, no, my friend I think not! The one fault of every great revival, Man seems to have forgot? For in those times that He visited,  Many believers… they just stopped! Stopped right there, And built GOD a box! We now call them Movements, By name! But it was God, who visited all, Just never the same!      Are we any different?  Even today! As we try to box in GOD, Who…in His own Words, Is indefinable in all His ways! Perhaps like those before us, we too have forgot. That...

 Without Jesus, sin would be king. To rage and too rule, over all living things. Without Jesus, there would be no mercy to find. For Christ brought God's mercy, to all mankind. Without Jesus, no hope could appear. Just man all alone, ruled by his fear. Without Jesus, no prayer could be heard. For in whose name, would we pray any word. Without Christ journey to Earth, Earth could be,  no longer where we dwell.  For t his place I've described, is a place called, hell.

Praised, be the GOD of Forever. For He is always welcome,  in this place. For through His Spirit, and by His Son. He is God, and He's the only one. But as time marches on, man seems to have forgot. Who God is, and who He is not. When all was dark, before time began. He was God, Before there was man. It was God who spoke, and all became whole. From the land to the sea, too man's very soul. He is still GOD, and yes, He is still there. He's the God of Forever, and He still cares! Genesis 1:1

In God's perfect time, There was no end. For time never mattered, When there was no sin. But the day Adam fell, Times clock began. As the world started spinning, From the sins of man. Round and round, Time and again. As the earth grew drunker, from spinning in sin. Sinning and spinning, Spinning in sin. Time cries for more, Now sensing the end... For as true as beginning's, Even time has an end. As the pendulum winds down, On the time of sin.
