Body Then Spirit

From the moment,
Of birth.
From our first breath,
On this earth.

We begin a journey
Of development and growth,
Body, then spirit,
An evolution of both.

We never stay,
What we were.
For growth demands change,
In who we are.

Age brings change,
To our physical man.
But for our spirit to grow,
Maturity, must be our plan.

Not sitting pat,
And resting on grace.
But going on with GOD,
And finding our place.

Not giving up,
When the waves get rough.
But being willing to go deeper,
Past turbulence thrust.

No,
Its not always easy to grow.
For something to change,
Something must go.
