The Road Continues.....

This journey of mine,
Started many years ago!
I began as a true blank page,
Very little did I know?

Along the way, I’ve traveled,
Hills high, and valleys deep!
I’ve saw mans very best,
And I’ve saw things to make you weep.

But the road continues on,
To places I’ve never gone.
Traveling all the while,
But never traveling alone.

This journey calls all men,
Not just some celebrated few.
For the honor is not the journey,
Rather the honor is…
In whom we are called to!

Should one of us pass,
Before we meet on this blue ball.
I'll see you on the other side,
But until then let us answer our call.

So travel on fellow travelers,
Though here our paths may not cross.
You see, God sent you one direction,
And me another.
But both to find the lost!

Shalom Fellow Traveler

Pilgrims

In this land,
that's not our own.
We pilgrims... still journey,
and continue on.

Traveling life's road,
taking in the sights.
Experiencing this life,
with all it's joy and frights.

Weathering life's storms,
by enduring it's worst seasons.
Pilgrims, committed to a journey,
void of earthly reasons.

For some, today,
will be their very last mile.
While most continue this journey,
yet, for a little while.

Just pilgrims on journey,
to a place we've never been.
Inviting all we meet,
to join we journeymen.

Declaring great beauty,
about cities adorned by man.
While faithfully continuing,
toward the city,
not of human hands.

Just pilgrims, just travelers,
just simply passing through.
We're headed to a land,
just beyond the blue.

Hebrews 11:13

Best or Blessed? (The Quest)

Mans journey on earth,
is that of a quest.
From the day of birth,
until final rest.

Between these two,
mans journey is life.
Filled with the highs of its joy,
and the lows of its strife.

Victories and loses,
do surely mount.
But few are they,
which truly do count.

The time man spends,
in search of whats best.
Leaves little time,
for the things that are blessed.

Things like, God and family,
and to help those in need.
For a journey without them,
is just...
 mans quest for his greed.

So we continue on,
In our search for what's best!
Rarely realizing,
Best in it's moment is still,
Second to Blessed!
